How to choose a route
Time decides more than anything else, so start there. A short break suits the classic run of Silk Road cities; a longer trip leaves room for the desert, the mountains near Tashkent, or a valley most itineraries skip.
Beyond that, weigh what you enjoy over what a route claims to include: architecture and history, food and craft, or a slower pace. Style, season and budget filters sort routes by that.
Private tours and small groups
Every route runs in one of two formats, both genuinely available. Most are private: your own guide and vehicle, at a pace set by your party, free to start early or skip whatever does not interest you.
Alongside them sit small-group departures, sharing the guide and vehicle with other travellers for a lower cost per person. The route and the guiding stay the same; what changes is company and price. The style filter marks the group departures.
What's included in a route
The pieces of a route stay consistent across the catalog: a guide, a driver and a vehicle, plus accommodation and the transport linking the cities — a train where the line runs, a car where it does not.
What varies is the detail: which meals are covered, whether an entrance ticket is folded in, and where the line on cost is drawn. That detail lives on each tour’s own page — read it before comparing routes on price alone.
Who runs it
Everything here is planned and run by our own team from our office in Tashkent, not assembled from other companies’ packages and resold under a different name. We have run trips across Uzbekistan since 2009, with our own guides and drivers.
