Honest planning
We will tell you the season to skip and the detour worth taking — even if it earns us less.

Eastern is a licensed inbound tour operator and destination management company, based in Tashkent since 2009. We plan and run everything ourselves — guides, drivers and the itinerary itself — rather than reselling another company's packages or routing your file through an office abroad.

The rest of this page is about what sits behind a route: how a request turns into a confirmed trip, what a team based here changes, and where responsibility sits once you've booked.

How a trip comes together

Nothing on this site is sold exactly as printed. A route starts as a draft, and turns into your itinerary once we know your dates, the cities or regions you want, and how you'd rather spend your days — the classic circuit, a slower pace, a private car throughout, or a mix worth discussing rather than picking from a list.

From there the plan is refined in writing until it matches what you actually want, confirmed, and run by the same team that planned it — not passed to a different company once the paperwork is done.

Why a local team matters

A route built and sold from abroad has to guess at a lot: which roads are open, which hotel has quietly gone downhill, which day a site closes for restoration. Being based in Tashkent removes the guessing — our planners walk the same streets the itinerary describes, and update it when the country does.

It also shortens the distance between a question and an answer. If a plan needs to change once you've already arrived, the people who can actually change it — not a script read from a call centre abroad — are the ones you're talking to.

What we're responsible for

Eastern operates under a tour operator licence, which is what allows us to run trips in Uzbekistan rather than simply arrange them from outside it. That licence sits on our own services — the guides, drivers and hotels we book — not on a package assembled by someone else and passed through us.

It also means the responsibility for what happens on a trip is ours, not split across several intermediaries. While you're travelling, the office that planned it is reachable by phone, WhatsApp or email — the same contact you had before you left, not a different one once you're on the road.

Let’s plan something memorable.
