Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Eastern Travel website and the booking of any tour, package or service offered by Eastern Travel LLC ("Eastern", "we", "us"). By making a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms on behalf of all members of your party.

Quotes and bookings

All quotes are provisional until confirmed in writing. A quote becomes a confirmed booking only once we have received your deposit and issued a written booking confirmation. Prices are quoted per person unless stated otherwise and may change due to currency movements, supplier costs or government charges until your booking is confirmed; once confirmed, the price of your trip will not be increased.

Payment

A deposit is required to confirm your trip, with the balance due before departure as set out in your individual booking confirmation. Bookings made close to departure may require payment in full. We accept bank transfer and card payment. No payment is taken simply to request a quote.

Changes by you

If you wish to change a confirmed booking, we will do our best to accommodate you. Some changes can be made at little or no cost; others — particularly those affecting flights, trains or hotels — may incur supplier charges, which we will tell you about before proceeding.

Cancellation by you

If you need to cancel, please tell us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges apply depending on how close to departure you cancel and the terms of the suppliers involved, and will be set out in your booking confirmation. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation.

Changes or cancellation by us

We plan every trip carefully, but occasionally we may need to make changes — for example substituting a hotel of equal or higher standard, or adjusting the order of an itinerary. If we have to make a significant change or cancel your trip for reasons within our control, we will offer you an alternative or a full refund of monies paid to us.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any required visa, for arranging adequate travel insurance, for any vaccinations or health requirements, and for arriving on time for included services. You agree to behave with reasonable consideration for others and to follow the lawful instructions of your guides and our local team.

Liability

We arrange and operate your trip with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for failures or losses caused by you, by a third party unconnected with the services we provide, or by events outside our reasonable control such as extreme weather, natural events, transport disruption, strikes or government action. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything that cannot be excluded by law.

Complaints

If something is not right during your trip, please tell your guide or our 24/7 support line straight away so we can put it right on the spot. If a matter remains unresolved, please contact us in writing within 28 days of your return.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and any dispute will be subject to its courts.
