About the journey

Grand Uzbekistan is the complete journey — twelve unhurried days across all five of the country's great Silk Road regions, from the artisan workshops of the Fergana Valley to the desert-fortress city of Khiva. Beginning in Tashkent, you fly to Khiva to walk the walls of Itchan Kala, trace the mud-brick caravan road to Bukhara, then continue to Samarkand and finish among the silk and ceramics of Fergana.

With two full weeks at hand, the pace stays gentle and the depth is real: leisure days in Bukhara, an evening under the stars at Samarkand's Registan, and time set aside for the crafts and conversations that quick tours skip. Every step is run by our own licensed Eastern team — local guides, trusted drivers and heritage-minded hotels, with nothing handed off to a reseller.

This Heritage-level itinerary is for the traveller who wants Uzbekistan whole rather than in highlights — repeat visitors, culture and history enthusiasts, and anyone with the time to let the Silk Road unfold properly. Spring is the ideal season, with blossom in the valleys and mild days across the desert.
